September 10, 2025 — Charlie Kirk assassinated

by rocknroll_ic86lw · February 14, 2010

A leading voice of the American Right, Charlie Kirk was particularly fond of going to universities and ‘debating’ students. His idea of ‘debate’ would not have passed muster at any high school debate club, but it made him a popular and controversial figure in the American media. Kirk’s political positions were pro-Christianity, often racist and sexist, and generally pro-Trump. Naturally, he was hated by people further to the right of him for not being extreme enough.

On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a young man named Tyler Robinson during one of his signature Prove Me Wrong ‘debates’ at Utah Valley University. He was shot in the throat and bled out, dying quickly. His last words were a bad faith attempt to reinterpret the question he was supposedly answering.
