by rocknroll_ic86lw · January 21, 2019

One of, if not the, greatest of the American poets, Bob Dylan was born Robert Zimmerman in Minnesota. He moved to New York City in 1961 to pursue a career in music. In the years since then, he has released 40 studio albums and 21 live albums, and those are only his solo works. He was a founding member of the Traveling Wilburys, he won the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature, and he is one of the most significant and influential artists of the twentieth century.

Dylan is best known for the quality of his song-writing, especially his lyrics, for his distinctive nasal voice, and for writing approximately half of all songs played by buskers the world over.
